We teamed up with the amazing folks @altered_reality_brewing to think up the perfect post race treat for @moltenmohawkniner.
This beer was born out of mutual respect and love for low abv, high flavor hoppy ales. The results are a blending of several different recipes paired with some new elements. A moderate dry hopping of Galaxy and Citra hops on top a simple malt base consisting of mostly barley and oats. We aimed to keep the beer crisp and crushable and let the hops shine without an overpowering of bitterness. We then added a mix of passion fruit, mango, and guava resulting in crisp tropical crusher that blooms as it warms up.

Had Masters of Molten at the SoPro Taproom on draft into pint shaker.
Pours grapefruit-juice hazy gold with 1-finger, creamy near-white head, with decent retention, leaving Belgian lace etched down the glass. Aromas of dry-hop resin, lime, a little peach and some bitter herbals off pour, then floral, pineapple, citrus rind and pine aromas, with growing strawberry and pear aromas as warms. On tasting, begins oat creamy with sweet pear, big citrus rind, lots of peach, and some bitter herb, over some just discernible pilsner malt and mild (dry-hop) resin, and growing pineapple and grapefruit as warms, before a drying, pine crisp, peach and biting lime finish.
Cool, fruity, smooth but crispy beer, at a good ABV because you're going to want several.
