A: Pours murky brown with a rather tall and thick beige head. Slow dissipation leaves somewhat nice lacings.
S: Bready malt, some caramel and sweetness. Buttery notes and some nice bitter hops. But the yeast is a bit too obvious in an ESB. Fruity.
T: Lots of bitter hops brings nettles and hay. Rich fruit from the floral hops; oranges and red apples. Caramell malt, a bit sweet and bready. A slight sourness from the yeast doesn’t feel right, though.
M: Long lovely bitter aftertaste. Rather full body and low carbonation makes this a pretty smooth beer.
O: The too obvious yeast kind of ruined it for me – otherwise, this was interesting.
