Hazy sunshine color with a bubbly white head. The nose is funk-a-dunk funky from the Brett and there’s also some rye notes.
The Brett is forward on the taste, but man is that rye a nice addition - lends a musty, earthy flavor that really balances the Brett nicely. Just a great saison, IMHO.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass. Invert Bottle before serving, ok that's a first. So let's see how much this will gush on open.
Slow very minor suds gush on the pour. Good orange to lemon colored body, with an opaque appearance and excellent glow and hue. Creamy topped white head, manages three fingers and a thick topped puck of a finger while settling. Nice looking saison.
Excellent nose. Classic rough brett aroma, touches light hay and hints of peach. Fruity esters get all over, with a touch of sage like herbs. Lemon basket, peach and even a touch of wheaty bread too. Real nice.
Palate goes for the solid basics. Grissette like flavors and mouthfeel, but with a touch more yeast and herb like qualities. Mild lemon with more thick bread bakery dough, and a light body finish. Touches a little bit of black pepper on the finish, but also some nice earthy soft dirt like hops. Mixing in a bit of lemon and bread dough as the drink goes on, a bit of dryness as well bordering on dried out hay.
Quite a nice solid saison.
