these guys have always had a strong lager game, and this is another banger from them in that space, rightly named, hard to see any beer or bar professional not digging it. cool to have this side by side with their czech one, this is so decidedly german, particularly on the hop side with the hallertau and saphir in it, but also in the grain, so much fresher to me than the imports ever seem to be, so really appealing, flavorful but also very light, real well done. bright yellow colored brew with good clarity and a better than average white head on it, slow fade there, zippy carbonation as the style demands. aroma shows the hops, not as intense as the czech one, but a defining element for sure, herbal and springy to me, fresh in a cool way, with subtle honeysuckle and hay, along with some apparent bitterness. familiar crackery pils malt, nice character from it, earthy and very dry, well lagered, which is kind of their thing here it seems. the flavor is right here too, crisp and quick, nice balance, love the grain flavor but lightness overall, quintessentially german overall, if a little lighter on the lager yeast side than most, its very tidy, brisk and cold, enough bitterness on the swallow. i found this delicious and refreshing, super high carbonation is choice. a nice showcase of these ingredients, great technique, light spiciness there too. quality beer from a quality brewery, we can never have too much good pils out there!

Draft at the brewery
Creamy foamy smaller head, fair retention and sticky lacing, clear pale straw color
Nose some doughy malts, more cereal like, breakfast cereal, hint of fruity citrusy hops with mild herbal hops
Taste brings more cereal malts, a bit doughy straw like, then hops bring med bitterness, herbal floral hops with a hint of citrus, mostly noble, dry crisp finish with big spicy hop bitterness lingering
Mouth is med bod, med to a bit higher slight prickly carb
Overall a decent pilsner, wish the hops brought a bit more flavor up front but they finish nicely

This was my first beer on my trip to this place in June 2023. Love all the medals on the goose. Geese rule.
Pours yellow as expected 2/7" white head. Found the aroma to be ho hum, was hoping for more of a yeasty, sulphur, lager presence but it just came up in a minimal way. Not bad, just not much.
The taste was a big improvement over the nose, mainly because what was lacking in the nose became stronger in the taste and mouth feel. Brings the yeast taste to the forefront with a sturdy tip of the cap to that barley essence. When you taste the golden waves of grain. Good grassy texture while remaining crisp. The bitterness is in the right spot, slightly more than BMC stuff. Light and appropriate breadiness.
This one wasn't quite up to all the award snuff, but its still a pretty good lager firmly in the second tier which works year round for me. Florabama is such an underrated song. We're gonna run through all their pilsners/lagers, should be interesting to see where this one falls in the heirarchy.

Draft at de Garde 10th Anniversary. Clear, pale golden pour, light foamy white head. Aroma is grainy, biscuity with light hoppy notes. Taste is crisp and clean, malty and grassy hops that finish with a small but tight bitter bite.

Notes from 7/4/2022.
Poured from a crowler into a Pilsner glass and a nucleated Teku glass.
The beer is golden with almost two fingers of head. Retention is average.
The intensity of aroma is medium. There are notes of grassy hops, spicy hops, lemon, crackery malt, and a touch of yeast. It smells like high quality ingrediants were used.
The intensity of taste is medium. The flavor has a brief crackery malt flavor followed by strong grassy hops, spicy hops, an increasing bitterness with a snap and a mineral flavor towards the end.
The feel is slightly less than medium in thickness. The carbonation is somewhat less than medium. There's a long dry moderately astringent finish.
Overall, it's very good. I had my hopes up and feel slightly disappointed. Objectively, it's a very good German Pils, but overall, I don't like it as much as I had hoped.

Pours beautifully, crystal gold and creamy cap. Light, spicy hops on the nose, crisp, grassy-green smack of flavor on the palate. Malt finishes clean, with just enough backing.

Looks great poured into a tall glass live at the brewery.
Smells wonderful. Very grainy, straw, slight grass.
Tastes great too. A class act of a German pils.

Had it at the berry in a tall pilsner glass. Clear yellow color with good head and lacing.
Had it with their Rocket 100 which I liked better. Both beers smelled and tasted clean and refreshing. The Industry had a bit of a backbite and was more bitter the the 100. Enjoyed them both and they went well with the food served.
