lovely execution, nice showcase of quality ingredients, simplicity and technique here coming together very well, really authentic pils, looks the part too, bright yellow and clear, weightless white head on top, small size carbonation but lots of it, pretty beer, lighter looking than many. the aroma is old worldy to me, well lagered, with distinctive water chemistry and a somewhat heavy handed hopping, noble and classic, but sturdy too, smells fresh, grassy and lemony on top of the biscuity pils malt, subtle white wine, even champagne character, nice balance. the flavor is similar, and this is pretty clean, i like the bold hops through the back half, but how drinkable this still is, its snappy without being aggressive or anything, its fresh and peppy and easy still, and the grain is awesome, fresh and a little doughy, notes of concrete and fresh pasta, but still very light, not all starchy and gloopy, its got a nice purity to it, is tidy in the ferment, and the lager yeast flavor rounds it out well. wicked carbonation is just right for it, and the hop snap is new on each sip. easy down, full flavored, refreshing and with a bit more european essence than the vast majority of these have, so well done overall. i had fun here many years ago, would love to visit again!

12oz can purchased at the brewery on 10-6-20. Dated (I think) but not legible.
1" white head, good retention. Falls slowly to a solid cap and leaves nice lacing.
Brilliant straw-gold with perfect clarity.
PIlsner-esque with a floral and lightly spicy hop aroma.
Clean, clean, clean with a light toasty malt and spicy balancing bitterness.
Simple/beautiful.
Light body, crisp mouthfeel with medium carbonation.
Clean finish with a hint of spicy hop bitterness lingering.
Drinkability is high, very high.
Outstanding.

I don't love the bitter minerality in the finish, which prevents it from being a truly good pilsner. Hard to justify buying this when Live Oak Brewing is in the same city.
