16oz canned on 8-7-20, opened 12-4-20.
1 finger sand colored head. Fluffy on top with a fine bead. Very good retention.
Amber-brown with excellent clarity. Clingy lace.
Dark bread, bakers chocolate, dough, and some minerality.
Mild roast, chalky earth, and nutty malt.
Medium body and carbonation. Clean, malty, and mostly dry finish.
Simple, flavorful, well-done...a very nice session style beer.
Very Good.

 

 

Darker brown with ruby red hues spread throughout. Has a mid-size bubbly tan froth. Aroma is subtle and weird with caramel, roasted nuts. Faint caramel mixed with grain and weird roasted nuts on the tongue. A hint of cardamom is noticed later alongside some weird-ass plum and syrup.

Almost too light in the body department. Kind of like a 140 lb wide receiver in the NFL that can run like lightning but really only has about 2 regular season games in him if he's lucky.* There's just no longevity. I don't really know what that means, but it sounds weird.

There's a lot going on with this one, but that doesn't mean it's exciting. Which is weird.

Keep Austin Weird. PLEASE.
