A - Very dark red with a very light head. Head dissipates quickly to a thin lacing.
S - Malty with some oats and a hint of coffee.
T - Coffee and toasted bread when beer hits tongue. Maltiness makes appearance half way through. Bitterness lingers as aftertaste but this is expected.
M - Moderately viscous. Finish is fairly clean.
O - Lacks the bitterness that many of the strong ales that I have tried seem to have. Allows for easier drinkability. More complex flavor than expected. Smell leads right into taste.
