Black in color and impenetrable to light. There's a half inch of creamy brown head that dissipates to a fingernail. Moderate lacing. The aroma is intensely potent milk chocolate. I initially taste rich luscious dark chocolate and then I get a light dose of piney hops. The mouth is lightly oily and viscous.

This utterly black beer has a thick tan head. The aroma is malty, boozy, and has some earthiness. Phenolic as well. Plastic? The taste is balanced, warm, and has a chocolate flavor. Full in body and intense.

12oz can poured into a snifter, no canning date
A- pours jet black in color with a creamy khaki colored hear that retains fora while before settling into a ring around the edge of the glass.
S- roasted chocolate malt aroma mixes with campfire ash, oats, chocolate pudding, along with candied fruits & black licorice
T- flavor opens with sweet milk chocolate, quickly followed by some charred malt, giving flavors of ash and burnt char. Mid-palate gives a bit of fruity character, the finish is bitter, with an herbal linger
M- medium body with medium-low carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel and a velvety smooth finish
O- hides the abv well and quite drinkable
