Brewer's notes:
This Gose (Goes-uh) was sour mashed to capture wild and natural lactic acid from the grain, which gives it a slight yogurt like smell. This blackberry version is salty and sour/tart with a refreshing blackberry and citrusy/coriander finish. Traditional Gose’s, with salt and coriander, are the only beer under the German beer purity law (Reinheitsgebot) that is allowed to have anything besides water, malt, yeast and hops.
Review:
Salty and tart, sour level similar to Anderson Valley Gose or Ritterguts. The blackberry flavor is just a hint, more of a smell than a taste, pretty much perfect. I was worried the fruit would overpower the beer, but it's present in just the right amount. Very tasty, good thirst-quencher on a hot day
