Did not think this could work, but it did...
In my never ending search for what I would think is the perfect beer I come across this bizarre concoction from a local brewer. I just had to try it if for nothing else to goof on it, but then I was surprised from the first sip I took. Right out of the can it looked like any other beer of this double IPA style I have had - a bit hazy, bright in yellows and orange highlights, and a foamy head to boot. Smell was strong with the apple pie but light on booze and mouthfeel was more carbonated than I preferred but still solid. The taste though, it was like truly drinking an apple pie milkshake - blew me away. Even after drinking I was still convinced it shouldn't have work, but there it was and there it did. If you're looking to try something out there, like far-out there, here's your beer of choice.
