Poured from a 750ml bottle into a goblet. The three-finger head was composed of fine bubbles, and the beer was a cloudy golden. The main component of the aroma was sourness, with barnyard/horse blanket funk. The taste was like the aroma but with the sourness played down and with a hops presence coming into play. The mouthfeel was just about right (even though the carbonation was a bit on the light side).
Overall, there is enough funk and moderate sourness to make this a pleasurable, balanced beer. It was a refreshing treat on a hot night.

L: An enticing opaque peach color topped by a dash of pure white head.
S: The plums are prominent, accompanied by a characteristic saison yeast smell. Very mild hints of brett.
T: Plum juice and spice are present, the latter especially on the aftertaste. A very juicy beer veering to the acidic end of the spectrum.
F: Bubbly and well-carbonated. Body is thin, perhaps a little creamy.
O: I wrote this as the beer was warming, in which time it has revealed depths of flavor that I had initially missed. Pluses: spice character is well-executed and interacts well with the plum juice. Minuses: lacks a depth of body. Brett is too subtle here.
