Excellent beer from Temperance. A bit lighter in color than I'd expect from a Belgian dubbel, though an attractive golden brown nonetheless. Maybe a bit less carbonated than a Belgian, and I actually like that. A bit sweeter than I'd expect. But well balanced, and improves as it goes. Recommended.

Quotidienne is no longer "Retired." But with only 27 check-ins last month @ UnTappd and me the first BA review since it was entered in 2015, why fuss and say it is "Active."
While Quotidienne has average Looks (too little foam, indicating a flaccid yeast), its amber at least lets more light in than the traditional Dubbel's brown; and I give extra points for attractive label design suitable to its name of "daily sustenance." Smells have no high points, but suitable. Tastes suit the brew's name; this is a table ale six month a year for us northerners. And it suitably cleanses the palate to eat more pasta with a bland red sauce and a garbage salad. Job done by Quotidienne. A Votre Sante !
I like Termperance more than I drink their offerings because I'm Belgian-biased. But Temperance seems thoughtful in all the traditions.
