22oz bomber purchased from the Boise CoOp. Always been interested in trying it, split into pint shakers with the wife.
A: Pours a crystal clear light gold color, fairly still with little visible carbonation. There is still some decent head retention and lacing though.
S: The nose is sweet, with lots of malt sweetness and breadyness...honey, floral perfume, faint spices.
T: The palate follows the nose; malt sweetness, dessert bread, hints of caramel, honey, cream soda, vanilla bean, orange peel and faint citrus, flowers.
MF: Light body but almost light-medium with the malt presence...with the low carbonation the mouthfeel is creamy.
O: Decent, and probably a good crossover beer. Reminds me a little of Summer Solstice and other summer/cream ales.

On tap at the brewpub as one of their early summer seasonals.
A: Copper and lifeless.
S: A mix of orange and cream--as sweet smelling as a soda.
T: This begins with a subdued fruit (orange) flavor filling out a pilsener's body. There's a quiet pepper finish, and--here's the only drawback--a soapy aftertaste that made me want to spit.
M: Light bodied and well-balanced, especially for a fruit beer. If only it weren't for that strange soapy taste and texture toward the back of the tongue...
D: Average overall, not so light as to be automatically refreshing, but good enough. Again, the aftertaste is the only drawback as it makes this brew severely less desirable in my mind.
This was one of four brews that I had at Table Rock, and I'd say that it's fairly indicative of their overall beer quality. This one is a toss up: not recommended, not not recommended.

Table Rocks Orange Blossom Special is a summer seasonal brewed with orange peel, coriander, and orange blossom honey. It features a delicate head that trails flawless wall-to-wall lace on the glass. It is a bright copper-bronze color. The aroma is light and casually spiced.
The brewer has achieved a skillful balance between the spiced exotica of a flavored beer and the simple elegant lines of a work-a-day house ale. The result is an ale that is colorfully enhanced by an infusion of tropical flavors, yet still tastefully restrained such that these flavors do not overpower the beer as a whole. This makes for a refreshing summer brew that is both charismatic and relaxed.
