This was served in a 20oz shaker style glass. The beer is a hazy, rusty amber with a off-white head. Decent sticky lacing.
Nose of grains, caramel and a bit of citrus.
The taste is balanced. Leads with a bit of grain-based sweetness followed by mild bitterness. I think this is a slightly hoped-up red and from the citrus notes, I'm guessing cascades.
The mouth is slightly slick with active carbonation.
This is an easy drinking slightly amped-up red. You had similar beers before, you will have similar beers again, but this is a solid rendition!
