Originally brewed at the pub in 1993, as “Laughing Dog” the recipe was re-worked and re-introduced in 2004 and has been a standard ever since, a deep golden, refreshingly hopped pale ale.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy burnt orange, the color is beautiful. Almost no head, even with an aggressive pour. Zero lacing
Smell: Not overly fruity/floral but a strong bitterness smell is present from the hops. Barely/malt in the background.
Taste: The taste is pretty weak. There is some bitterness but nothing distinctive with the hops. Alcohol comes through.
Mouthfeel: Very average with perhaps too much carbonation.
Drinkability: Comparatively to other IPAs this beer is not nearly as enjoyable to drink which outweighs the ABV.
