Inflatablechair and I had a few brews tonight, and I scored this growler to have some fun with. Foamy off white head... nice retention and okay lacing... the brew is crystal clear orange.. pretty.
Nose is very balanced... a nice punch of citrus hops and a hint of floral notes with touch of toasty malt and more prominent pale malt component ... proper pale ale for sure...
Flavor has no flaws, but I would prefer a bigger hoppy presence ... clean pale malt with touches of dry dark toast... the hops midpalate are citrus.. unmistakable Cascade.. Sierra Nevada'eske.. a touch of floral hops on the finish... maltiness is nice and on the outside of standard.. Cascade hops abound without ever being heavy... nice and very drinkable.
Body is on the lite side of medium for a APA.... but I am not complaining..
Surprising... I've pretty much ignored Table Rock for the plus side of a decade... but recently, I decided to come back to my home turf and have been very pleasantly happy with the offerings.
