Pours a murky, milky, greasy amber, looks like unfiltered apple cider gone wrong, no head but a thin ring of lacing. Smells like apple cider, slight earthiness, some yeasty autolisis notes. Taste is cider, earthy hops, musty rye bread. Mouthfeel is thin and light. Not much going on here, tastes like a mediocre homebrew. I think this was fermented at too high a temp as the cider off flavors are everywhere, in the nose, the palate, the burps. And I don't drink cider. As the pint drinks down the flavors become even more muted, not a lot of specialty grains were used other than for color. Use some caramel malts, it will add some backbone to this, and ferment at lower temps next time.
