Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a clear golden-tinged honey color; the cap of foam lays down sheets of lacing
Smell: Bready, with phenolic pear tones
Taste: Bready, up front, with the pear tones building; phenolic yeast flavors, through the middle, but the finish is clean
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; a bit heavy for a Belgian style
Overall: Decent but I think the reputation of Arizona Wilderness will not be built on Belgian styles

Had a pint at the brewpub 7-3-16 for $4.50.
Beer was served golden with an OK white head.
Nose had hints of subtle esters.
Taste was well balanced between the pale malts and a light pear hop finish.
Feel was heavier than anticipated for the style, lacking the classic BPA lightness.
Overall not a bad beer but do not expect a true authenticate BPA style brew.

On draft at the source. Golden body with a thick, white head. Floral aroma, Belgian yeast. Bready with a subtle spice character. Light in body with big flavor. A solid homage to the Trappist monks at Westmalle.
