Formerly Picacho Pecan Pie Brown Ale
Our Pecan Pie Brown Ale is brewed with Green Valley Pecan Company's finest, AZ milk sugar, vanilla beans and maple syrup -- oh, and a dozen whole pecan pies, which we threw right into the mash

Tasted out of a large snifter.
Pours a clear, medium red mahogany with a tan head.
Smelled of maple syrup and nuts.
Good mouth feel.
Tastes strongly of pecan, maple.

Thanks to E. for sending this 16 oz. can as part of a fantasy baseball box. And I have no idea what a picaho is.
This might be the ugliest beer ever: the very definition of a stout shart. The nose is sweet nuts, but one has to sniff mightily to pick it up.
Picaho Pecan Pie is terrible. A muddy, muddled, sweet lactose nut infused mess. The amount of sweetness here would rival a donut with five or six ounces of sugar piled on top.
Two sips to the drain. Not a record, but close. Just awful.

Picked up a 32 oz growler at the brewery 11-30-18 for $14.50 after enjoying a 5 oz taster. Consumed on 12-1-18. This year's version is 8.0 abv
Beer poured a murky brown with very little head. Looks a little like a thick old fashion apple cider.
Nose is pecan forward with pie crust and maple lingering in the background.
Taste is really well balanced medley of flavors includeing pecans, maple, lactose, and pie crust. Hopping is adequate which keeps the sweetness at bay.
Mouthfeel has zero carbonation, is medium bodied with very little smoothness.
Overall an interesting concept beer to try. Better serves as a dessert beer than the primary beer of the night.

A: Dark brown with 1/2" head and mild lacing.
S: Not getting a lot, some burnt malt and booze.
T: Total let down, mine was a bitter boozy mess with zero goodness. Where are the pecans, brown sugar, etc? I got nothing. Updated with new can, tasting a lot better, less booze and more Pecan and Picacho flavors.
M: Full Medium.
O: Complete let down, waited to try this and it seemed off. Only 2 weeks old and just bitter and zero flavors. I expected a sweet beer and got burnt booze. Updated and a lot better today, more flavor and low booze, thinking prior can was infected.

Thin, brown and no glass lacing. Sweet and spicy aroma, taste is light in flavor with some baking spices, nuttiness, creamy but undercarbonated and too bland. Was not a big fan.
