Bit hit of pineapple and grapefruit in the nose, light dankness, really basically smells like a freshly opened bag of hops, palate follows suit though is perhaps a little astringently bitter, even spicy. These NEIPAs can kind of start to taste like each other after a while. But, if you like the style, this ought to do you well.

Great offering by AZW, spot on NE style IPA that would stand up against the stuff coming out of Tree House and Tired Hands!
L: No seeing through this one, turbid, true to the style S: Smells like a juicy citra bomb T: awesome pop of Citra, juice bomb is the only way to describe it F: very smooth, an easy drinker O: Surely won't be able to get my hands on as much of this as I could possibly want. Extremely disappointed it's a "one-off" but looking forward to the next offering in the series

This beer is great! Great east coast style IPAs being brewed in Arizona, who'd of thought? L: looks like white grapefruit juice with about a fingers worth of tight white head. S: sweet citrus, it smells very balanced. T: tastes like a juice bomb. It is wonderfully balanced with slightly less carbonation than the typical IPA. F: soft body and light carbonation make this a silky smooth and crushable. O: this is definitely one of the best beers I've had from AZ Wilderness and maybe one of the best IPAs I've had. Wilderness is doing great stuff here in the middle of the desert!
