Enormous amount of Metropolis coffee straightens out the milk stout.

12oz can with no legible date, opened 1-12-25.
1 finger tan head with good retention, early lacing.
Dark body with no light penetrating - some dark brown at the bottom edge.
Aroma is a mix of bold coffee and weedy/green aromas...earthy and roasty.
Rich coffee flavor and roasted malt + licorice.
Medium body, smooth mouthfeel with a touch of sweetness mid-palate with a roasty and semi-sweet finish.
Very Good.

L-Pours a two finger headed beer that quickly dissipates to pretty much nothing. Some bubbly, cola-like carbonation throughout.
S-Notes of vanilla, coffee, milk chocolate and booze. Some stone fruit in the back as well.
T-Follows the nose. Subtly sweet, notes of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. A bit watered down towards the end.
F-A bit flat and lifeless.
O-The flavor is okay. Nothing to write home about. It's just a bit flat and lifeless to me, and watered down at the end. I've had far better of this style.

On tap at the grocery store beer and wine bar. I just had a beer with friends, not a Sip N Shop visit.
Opaque black appearance with scant tan head that was gone rapidly.
Strong coffee and chocolate aromas.
Coffee, lactose, cocoa, light roast flavors.
Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel, sweet initially, with the cocoa and roast developing later.
I liked it and would buy it again.

Favorite stout so far. Very flavorful for abv and price. Unconventional, definitely coffee flavored.

Poured a black body with one-finger tan head that left some lace as it died. Decent aroma of roasted malts with some dark chocolate. Medium to heavy body, a little bit of creamy slickness along with roasted, dark chocolate notes and sweetness. Beer finishes dry with a sweet edge and is relaxing to sip on.

Pours black with two fingers of khaki foam. Aroma is roasty and toasty malts with a little more emphasis on the roasty side. Coffee comes through bold and strong, adding to the heavy roasty notes. Mild caramel and faint chocolate add some sweetness, but as a whole, aroma leans towards bitter. Flavor profile is more rich and decadent than the nose, at least initially. Roasty and toasty malts work together with heavy roasty coffee, mild milk chocolate, and toffee to form the bulk of the taste. Towards the end, earthy malts are exposed, which ends the beer not so sweetly. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a soft, crushed velvet texture. Overall, reminds me of Mother's Winter Grind - a solid middle of the road coffee stout that doesn't shy away from coffee notes.
Poured in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 12oz can.

Coffee, dark brown, with two fingers of brown foamy carbonation. The smell is of spring time and autumn and coffee all at once. The tastes of sour coffee with a medium to light body and a little carbonation. I got this in Asheville North Carolina and I’m drinking in Phuket, Thailand, October 26, 2023.
