Brandy barrel aged Belgian style stout with cocoa nibs and oranges. Inspired by Memphis chocolatier Philip Ashley.
L- Bomber poured into a tulip glass that pours murky brown with thin cap that quickly dissipates
S- brandy and chocolate
T- follows the nose, brandy barrel with a tootsie roll-like chocolate. Not getting much,if any orange.
F - fairly thin for a stout, a little watery.
I was expecting more with this 9% ABV stout. As it warmed the oranges came through slightly on the back end. Taste is a little odd or different to my taste as never have had a brandy barrel aged beer. Ok but not great offering from Wiseacre.
