Had on tap at the HQ brewery.
On arrival a fine off white 1 finger head was present that over a few minutes receded to a nice ring around the glass with nice lacing and a thin covering. Body is a lightly hazy dark reddish brown.
Aroma is slightly mi eraluc with some English yeast character followed by a light roastu coffee and chocolate malt aroma. Mostly clean.
Taste follows the aroma and is mostly light with those roasty coffee/chocolate flavors, but it is all from the malt. Clean, roasty, and lightly fruity.
Feel is very drinkable bit a touch ligjt. The feel is quite attenuated and dry with a medium long finish, but the mouthfeel is just a touch watery.
Overall this is a decent beer. And a nice example of an English mild, however I haven't had many of this beer, and it could be a bit more full bodied.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
