LOOK: Pours a very light pale clear color that has only a hint more color than H2O. White head that disappears quickly, leaving scant side glass history.
AROMA: Light grass, lemon peel, grainy.
TASTE: Grassy, grain, slight hops.
Extremely dry, not a winner.
Only my second Rice Lager, now I know this is a style for me to avoid.

12oz can. Poured out a crystal clear, straw yellow color with a small, white head of fizzy foam. it left thin lacing. It smelled of caramel, toasted bread and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with a mild bitterness.

DATE: November 22, 2025... OCCASION: basking in a Northwest Jersey Cup quiz bowl championship-yes, that's a thing!--with a beer I bought on the summer vacation to Tennessee... GLASSWARE: pilsner... light, straw gold body full of bubbles that build a quarter finger of frothy, sudsy white head... light adjunct waft with lemon, dish detergent, fragrant flowers, and some off-centered, borderline-egg-like odor... not a clean drag, overall... creamy, smooth, easy drinking and perfect for a distracted palate... not so substantial for a close-up... its profile is clean, bright, and herbal--almost like tea and mint or menthol--with zero backbone and lemon and grain, banana and clove... behaves a bit like a wheat beer, but lacks that distinguishing texture or refreshment... not a bad mix pack mate, but not one I'd seek out specifically...

Very good. Very very good.

Look: What you expect for a rice lager. Translucent straw yellow with a satin white head of foam. Good retention and lacing.

Aroma: A bit of lemon peel. Rice Krispie treats. Apple.

Taste: Light and savory with some undertones of white rice and rice "puffs" / rice cakes with mild notes of sugary bitter lemon peel and sweet apple.

Feel: Thirst slaking and chugable. A very solid session beer.

Overall: Loved it. Would repurchase any time.

12oz can

On the pour 1 finger of bone white head sat atop a straw yellow, clear body. Head retention isn't the best, but there is still some lacing left.

Aroma is extremely light with some lager aroma Overton a light biscuity malt, and some equally light citrus note coming from some hoppage. Very light and refreshing.

Taste is also very light, and it actually loses some of the malt character. Still a very "beery" beer. The citrus hops are present in the flavor but don't do much more than hint at the presence of lemon or lime subtly. Super dry.

I could put this down like cold lightly sparkling water on a hot day. Not to say this is nearly as carbonated as sparkling water, but the dryness and crispness definitely make this a strong contender for lawnmower beers. Feels super clean.

Overall this is a fine beer, but definitely not a substitute for a macro lager, American or otherwise. The hops are quite unique with strong tart citrus also making this a strong contender for adding salt and lime.

From Beer Drop. Canned 234 2. Julian dating I reckon. August 22nd 2022.

Pours the palest of straw yellow with a surprisingly long lasting head of foam. Some lacing.

Smells grainy, hoppy, pretty much covers it.

Taste is grainy, watery, some hoppiness, maybe some lemon.

Thin and watery mouthfeel which is not shocking considering the low abv.
