Part of a 4 part paddle (flight or sampler) at Sydney's Brewpub.
I don't go into bars much, particularly in Australia since they are harder to get to frequently (like every eight years.) But the fact remains, Aussie bars serve their beer too cold; even if that makes sense given the hot climate. Nonetheless, the flavor of their beers (particularly ales) would be better if they weren't so cold. For this paddle, there was no time for the beer to warm as I was thirsty and then the food came.
But Blue Swimmer Summer Ale did its job. Refreshing. Like the other three brews on the paddle, the foam could be more foamy especially from a keg. But I give good Overall Hugs to Sydney Brewing for reasons I explain in the other paddle brews and my Place review.
