On tap at Pacific Plate Brewing Company in Monrovia, CA.
Pours a murky orange-brown with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Thin streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, earth, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth and spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with citrus zest qualities that come through better in the taste to me.
Serving type: on tap.
