Pours a orangey yellow. Kinda like orange juice. Pretty much no head.
Smells kinda like a mimosa. I don't know what a Mai Tai smells or tastes like so obviously I can't compare it to that. Smell is first of orange pith. Definitely showcasing the bitterness of the orange. Follows is some hints of lime.
Taste is first hit by the orange. It wasn't as bitter as I thought it was going to be based off the smell. After that the lime and citrus sourness comes through as expected.
Overall this is a nice sour. Doesn't wow or blow it out of the park but it was very enjoyable and absolutely as advertised. Collective arts never disappoints.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated May 10 2021 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a hazy golden orange colour, producing one finger of foamy, soapy white head that lasts for the better part of five minutes. A thin collar and film are all that remain, with no lace to speak of - looks right for the style. It smells of oily citrus peel, mandarin orange, limeade, passion fruit and grapefruit, with subtler hints of amaretto, stone fruit, strawberry and pineapple. The orange is dominant, but it all works together nicely.
An interesting beer - puckeringly sour at the forefront, with plenty of lime juiciness coming through, though I'm also getting orange, pink grapefruit, passion fruit and pineapple. There's some lactic acidity in there as well, but all of the other, more potent flavours leave it relegated to a background role. Finishes with sugary orange juice, bitter orange peel and almond flavouring, with hints of piney, earthy hop bitterness that are quickly overrun by more sour lime juice and orange, which linger into a tart finish with hints of almond, spiciness, and curaƧao. Medium-light in body, with relatively aggressive carbonation that scrubs the tongue with each sip; feels crisp throughout the session, with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Fair drinkability: I could conceivably have a few of these in a row, which is not usually the case with this type of beer.
Final Grade: 4.15, an A-. Mai Tai Sour is a solid, beer-ified interpretation of this classic tiki cocktail - perhaps a little generous with the lime juice, but I'm not complaining. It's not exactly a brew I'd want to drink on a daily basis, but it's still a well-made, unique take on the style, one which I could totally see myself craving now and then. Sour fans should definitely keep an eye out for this tasty, citrus-heavy treat.

Look: Pours a very slightly orange yellow color with a one finger head of foam that instantly fizzles away.
Aroma: Very light hint of toasted cereal + almonds. Mostly smells of sour grapefruit and orange with a pleasant, slightly savory and bitter lemon rind note.
Taste: Upfront I get a light sweet granola flavor with hints of sweet coconut which instantly transitions into bold, bright and beautiful flavors of sour orange, lime and grapefruit. Goes sweet again on the finish with this wonderful, creamy, coconut and almond like flavor of orgeat - which if you've never had it; is basically just spiced almond syrup/paste.
Feel: Light body. Low carbonation. Dry / sour. Mouthfeel is perfect; neither too thin or too thick.
Overall: Wow. This is simply mind blowing. It's fairly simple and straightforward but by god the flavors are out of this world. I'm not the biggest fan of their IPA's but collective arts always impresses me with their sours.
This probably isn't for everyone but it's definitely my type of sour.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for $4.55 CDN. Canned May 10, 2021.
Appearance - fleshy golden / orange color with two fingers of loose white head. Good staying power. Quite a bit of visible carbonation.
Smell - Orange for sure, lime as well, Some bready malts in behind but the citrus stands out and smells liked a mixed drink.
Taste - Quite sour, loads of lime initially, a bit of orange, hints of pperper and a crackery finish, before the lime comes back for round two. Assertively sour at the start, melds into something sweeter mid sip and then finishes sour.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, very expressive carbonation. Medium dry finish.
Overall - Too much lime for my tastes, the orange is quite buried and doesn't stand out. Interesting play, but one I won't be repeating.
