473ml can served cold into a chalice. Canned April 30, 2022.
Appearance - Turbid overripe peach color with a finger of rocky head on top. Plenty of sediment in the bottle and also some visible carbonation. Moderate head retention. Not the most appealing color.
Smell - Lots and lots of coconut, some pineapple backing things up. No strawberry whatsoever. The coconut though is quite pleasant, doesn't smell like a sour at all.
Taste - Plenty of sourness, elements of strawberry and pineapple and coconut. The lime works its way in, that's what is really amping it up. While that adds to the sourness, I feel the strawberry gets overshadowed too much as a result.
Mouthfeel - Fairly full creamy body, with middling carbonation. Not juicy, but juicier than many a sour at the close.
Overall - Good sour and I think the flavors were nailed pretty well. A bit too much lime and not enough strawberry to have this being featured as a strawberry forward beer, but pretty much does taste the way a strawberry pina colada might be constructed.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 30 2022 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a hazy golden-orange colour, its body strewn with abundant, clumpy sediment that slowly settles out; situated atop is two fingers of puffy, soapy, foamy white head. It lasts for at least five minutes, slowly reduced to a creamy collar and thin cap, with an appreciable smattering of lace flung about in the process. Coconut suntan lotion on the nose, with pineapple and strawberry cream sweetness also coming through clearly. The coconut & sugar combo gives me Malibu rum flashbacks.
Good stuff - there's a nice mix of sour/tart and sweet/juicy flavours, but the coconut is a little overdone for my tastes. Pineapple, lemon and toasted coconut at the forefront, with strawberry and bready wheat next in line. Huge coconut flavours are giving me that suntan lotion vibe on the back end, but thankfully there's enough lactic sourness and lime zest acidity to serve as a counterpoint; more coconut, creamy sweetness and mild lacto sourness round out a persistent aftertaste. Medium-full in body, with low-ish carbonation that meekly agitates the tongue; feels smooth, soft and juice-like in the mouth. Good drinkability - perhaps almost sessionable, if you appreciate coconut more than I do.
Final Grade: 3.96, a solid B+. Strawberry Piña Colada Sour is pretty darn tasty. I'm really glad that they included the lime, because the lactic acidity of the base sour probably wouldn't have been enough to stand up to the sweeter coconut/strawberry/pineapple flavours all by its lonesome. About on par with Collective Arts' original Piña Colada sour: both well-made beers in their own right, even though I don't especially care for coconut. If it piques your interest, it's probably worth your money.

Hit the taste barrier. Strawberry, like a candy bar. Coconut finish. Some moderate sourness in the finish. On tap at the Wheeled in Barrie. A one time brew by CA.
