Smooth drink, very lemon forward, which is in the name and it doesn't lie. Great for a warm day or in my case today after a long day at work.

If you like lemon, this gose is for you. Very lemon forward with a subtle sweetness. Tart, crisp, & refreshing.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jun 2 2023 and served slightly chilled.
Pours hazy and translucent, its body a pale straw yellow colour and crowned with two fingers of puffy, foamy white head that lasts for more than five minutes. It leaves behind a respectable swath of lace as it's whittled down to a tight collar and filmy cap - looks amazing for the style. Lots of authentic lemon on the nose: I'm getting lemon juice, zest and candy, supported by hints of wheaty, grainy malts, coriander and faint salt water.
Moderately sour flavour, with lemon for days - the Sicilian variety is sweeter than most, adding a pleasantly juicy sweetness that helps counter the acidity. Fresh-squeezed lemonade, lemon candy and lemon juice sourness dominate, with hints of wheaty grain, salt water and coriander peeking through on the back end. Citrusy, lemony sourness lingers into the aftertaste, soon fading to a light saltiness. Light in body, with average carbonation that adds some spritz to this gose's otherwise smooth, soft mouthfeel. I had no trouble finishing my can, but I get the sense that this would give me wicked heartburn if I attempted to session it.
Final Grade: 4.39, an A grade. I'll admit to being a sucker for lemony beverages (i.e. I have a favourable bias here), but Sicilian Lemon Gose is without a doubt one of the best lemon sours I've had in a long time, so I must grade it accordingly. At nearly $5 per can, it's worth every penny - I should've bought a bunch more while it was in stock locally. Highly recommended to lemon lovers and fruited sour lovers alike.

Poured a 473ml can into a pint glass.A big fine white head on a cloudy lemon. Good head retention. Patchy lacing.
Strong lemon smell.
The taste is a again lemon up front. The salt is very moderate.
Light body with moderate carbonation.
A nice refreshing Gose. great on a hot day.
