Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some light tropical floral hops undertones and dry hops notes. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some tropical juicy citrus hops notes and floral undertones and some residual sugar with dry hops notes. Body is full with good carbonation.Solid NEIPA but was expecting more tropical notes from the hops.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jun 9 2023 and served slightly chilled.

Pours turbid and hazy, its pale yellow body crowned with roughly one finger of tight, foamy white head that lasts for two or three minutes' time. A creamy collar and sudsy, bubbly cap live on, with a half-inch curtain of messy lace left in its wake; a modest quantity of gritty sediment settles out swiftly. The aroma is subdued, offering up hints of lemon juice and grapefruit pithiness, as well as suggestions of pineapple, apricot, weedy hops and wheaty malts.

A compelling display of Galaxy hop flavours, ranging from grapefruit and passion fruit at the forefront to lemon, peach and mango by mid-sip. Rather bitter on the tail end, at least for a self-styled NEIPA - it finishes grassy, earthy, dank and a little resiny, with shades of citrus and stone fruit reverberating into an astringent yet sweet-ish aftertaste reminiscent of Pez candy. Medium in body, with moderate carbonation that adds some bite to this brew's otherwise smooth, pillowy-soft mouthfeel; fair drinkability at 6.6%, but one was almost more than enough for me.

Final Grade: 3.93, a B+. Referring back to Collective Arts' other beers of this 'type', I don't think Galaxy 2 Ways is as good as the Citra Four Ways, or the Mosaic Four Ways - but in all fairness, I like both of those hop varieties more than I like Galaxy, and neither of those beers were five months old when I reviewed them. All in all, it's still a pale ale worth trying, but there are plenty of other CA IPAs that I'd pick well before this one. Worth a try, but only if they brew another batch - the currently-existing stock is just way too old to recommend at this point.

Cloudy yellow, with two fingers of white head. The smell is of peaches and papaya, pine, and grapefruit,. The taste is of white grapefruit with hints of green hops, and a strong, white, grapefruit, pith bitter aftertaste. Medium body with moderate foamy carbonation. I purchased this in Ontario Canada and I’m drinking it in Thailand September 2, 2023.

A-Golden straw yellow with a bright white head that lingers
S-Tropical fruit forward with candied fruit at the back end
M-Juicy mouthfeel with medium body and lower end carbonation
T-Candied mango and citrus fruit flavour. There is also a sour bite that is not great. I can see as this beer ages that would come out more and younger cans would be better
O-Okay, but the sour punch is to watch out for…

can from LCBO - pours a hazy burnished gold color with a frothy 2 finger white cap.....aroma has juicy green cone hop aromas over sweet malts, a bit of yeast funk and earthy tones....medium bodied, slick mouth feel.....flavour has the galaxy hops dominating up front then a rush of malts break in providing weak balance.....long wet finish where the hops drop off somewhat to revel the sweet mats, but the bittering dominates....interesting NEIPA....not a hint of citrus as the style demands but the juicy wet hop discernment adds to the uniqueness of this brew....decent sipper for a hot summer day

Haven't really had much of Collective Arts lately, unless their Origin of Darkness. Frankly their IPAs give me a headache.
But here I am, trying.
This pours pale with a nice head. The nose is mostly of malt.
The taste is very bland. Watery malt with a bit of a bitter end is all you get. The malt overwhelms everything else, making this the opposite of an NEIPA the can claims. On an NEIPA, the notes are of citrus and the malt takes a backseat.
Drinkable once but highly disappointing.

Pours deep hazy orange with a huge, chunky head that lasts forever. Peach, pineapple, grapefruit hops explode in the nose. The taste is dank citrusy, tropical hops with loads of bitterness. The mouthfeel is full bodied and creamy with carbonation. High bitterness and lots of residual fruit in the long finish.

A fantastic NEIPA with loads of complexity and bitterness. A must try.

473 ml can served fairly fresh into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for just under $5 CDN. Review from notes.

Appearance - Semi hazy golden/orange brew with a couple of fingers of fairly long lived rocky white head. Pretty decent curtain lacing too.

Smell - Pineapple and grapefruit mostly, with a green dankness mixed in too. Wheat malt prevalent too.

Taste - Again pineapple and grapefruit combo with lots of bitterness shining through. Suffers a bit from the sufficiently bitter for the sake of being bitter. This expression was toned down on second review and bumped up to a 4.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, moderate carbonation and juicy finish.

Overall - For whatever reason, this was good but didn't awaken my senses the way Collective Arts usually does. Probably need to revisit while it's still available. Reviewed again and while well crafted, it's merely a good beer for me. Bumped the taste and overall up to 4 as it does deserve that in my eyes, but merely one of the pack with CA, rather than being one of their best.
