At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned March 3/25. My 22nd beer from the Hamilton, Ontario brewery, and 7th for 2026. Instinctively loved by Sundae the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jul 7 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours hazy and turbid, its pale yellow-coloured body graced with one finger of loose, soapy white head that falls apart within a few minutes. At least it has the courtesy to leave behind a coat of messy lace as it's reduced to a frothy collar and sudsy cap. Fruity on the nose, including notes of mandarin orange, grapefruit, passion fruit and pineapple; hints of coconut, mint and piney hops can also be discerned.
A delicious IPA; the flavours follow the nose. Pineapple and passion fruit figure in strongly, as do citrusy notes of grapefruit, orange peel and lime-ade; bready, wheaty malt sweetness adds some structural support. Hints of coconut, stone fruit & barely-ripe mango on the back end, with some piney, dank, resiny hop bitterness tying things up nicely; the bitterness persists briefly into a citrusy, weakly warming aftertaste. Medium-full in body, with assertive carbonation that adds a crisp bite to this brew's fulfilling, smooth body. Dangerously drinkable.
Final Grade: 4.21, an A-. Beach Haze is a very solid hazy IPA, maybe one of the best that this brewery has come up with in the past couple of years. Juicy flavours of citrus and tropical fruits abound, tantalizing the taste buds throughout each sip - the hop profile is not singularly unique, but it's got a lot of 'oomph', for lack of a better term. These numbered IPAs always seem to pop up and then disappear within a few months, but recipe #30 is one that Collective Arts needs to hang onto, and hopefully bring back next summer.

Tap taste at Bear’s House, Toulouse, France.
Big handsome foam on hazy yellow brew.
Nose is tropical fruits front, featuring pineapple, starfruit, passionfruit.
Taste leads pineapple, stays tropical, with a decent resin note and short bitterness.
Mouth is a bit thin. Medium carbonation.
Overall, here’s a nice summer quencher with a kick.

Pours milky straw with a frothy long lasting head. The aroma is of berries, tropical fruit and grainy malts. The taste an eclectic mix of pineapple, grass, cedar, berries, and resin. Restrained bread sweetness in the back. The mouthfeel is full bodied and highly carbonated. High bitterness and loads of hop fruitiness in the long finish.

An NEIPA it is hazy, but its got an edge off. Miami style is cute. Competent NEIPA. Good drinkability. Worth a try.Good for what it is, worth trying.

Review from notes. Served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Hazy yellowy gold brew with huge amount of foamy white head. Great staying power and a huge swath of lacing.
Smell - Mango and passionfruit. Sweet and with some pineapple. Coconut in play too. Big citrus nose on the whole.
Taste - Pineapple and more citrus with coconut shining through. Medium bitterness and very much fruit forward.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and juicy with low carbonation and leaning towards a full, heavy bodied, especially as IPA's go.
Overall - A good IPA and a worthy addition to this long-lived series.

L: Pours nicely, creating a moderate head that fades slowly but is resilient throughout. Beautiful, deep yellow body.
S: Deep citrus + mild pine & grass.
T: Medium bodied, semi-dank, juicy, hoppy, mango/citrus -> stone fruit, with a tart, bitter, mildly boozy finish.
F: Juicy - Refreshment Level: 6
O: Another solid offering from Collective Arts, IPA 30 is indeed made for the summer beach, or anywhere else you damn well please.
