Appearance: Poured with a thumbs worth of head that made some minor lace but didn't stick around. The body has a bunch of unappetizing particulate matter in it that is trying to pass itself off as fairly mild carbonation. There is some cloudiness I would expect from the beer at the top two inches but the rest of the beer clears up quite a bit. That lack of uniformity, has me concerned.

Smell: I am catching some traditional witbier notes, in particular orange (maybe clementine? as it is a bit sweeter) and corriander with a fairly rough wheat and barley malt backbone to it. Needs quite a bit of warming up though to achieve potency.

Taste: Witbier is an already light style, but this is the light lager version of it. Starts with that rough malt and a seltzer note which comes across as brewing this beer a bit too watery before a decent orange and coriander note come to the rescue. It's not bad, but it's lacking,

Mouthfeel: The orange is trying it's best in the aftertaste, and it does last for about 5 seconds before it's overcome by the club soda/seltzer note. Transitioning is decent, but it's mainly a strong end bailing out a weak front. The carbonation here is a question mark. Is it over carbonated, or is it lacking the potency for the carbonation to do anything. I'm inclined towards the later.

Drinkability: Well it is refreshing and extremely light bodied and settles down very well, but the same could be said of water. It's not grabbing my interest in any way, and certain isn't offering anything bold, either in terms of citrus, or unique malt or a herbal note. It's just kind of...there.

Final Thoughts: I don't honestly know if that weird cloudier at the top thing for this brew is an accident or intentional, given the name twin rivers. That said, if the branding was made to indicate this beer is watered down, well success I suppose. I know some brewers struggle to use wheat, and apart from the hefeweizen in 2017, I can't recall a good wheat coming out of Collective Arts, who tends to favor bitter styles and stouts. You'll want to pass on this one.

473ml can served cold into an oversized wine glass. Brewery purchase and canned July 31, 2025.

Appearance - Pale golden straw colored brew with just some orange highlights. A finger and change of fizzy white head with modest retention. Not much lacing to speak of.

Smell - Faint citrus with orange coriander and a hint of orange zest frontlining.

Taste - Pretty mild. Orange initially with some bitterness and plenty of spice. Lacking a bit of depth, but the flavor is intense enough.

Mouthfeel - Medium light bodied and crisp carbonation. Pretty easy drinker.

Overall - Not a great wit, but appreciably quaffable and a nice change and addition to Collective Arts' rotation.

Can: Poured a clear pale yellow color lager with a medium white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of faint wheat malt notes with some faint residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of wheat malt notes with some residual sugar notes and faint spices. Body is light with good carbonation. Very faint tasting witbier.
