From a 16oz crowler picked up at the source; first from Ashtown
Poured into a Sierra Nevada imperial pint
p- clear deep gold/copper color w/ a small white cap
n- med nose; sweet bready malt pairs with spicy simcoe hops; pleasant
t- really nice; lots of toasted malt; simcoes come through with earthiness, light spice, and a med bitterness that coats the mouth a bit
mf- med-bodied; med carb level; satisfying
o- very good pale ale; showcases both a solid malt body and a fairly bold hop profile for the style- I dig it! definitely a memorable first impression of this brewery
