A: Poured from the nitro tap it presents a nice, full yet whispy dirty white head with good retention. A good amount of lacing and bubbles persist as I drank it down
S: I have always felt that beers on nitro are a little tamer in the nose department than if it were draft but I did pick up some chcolate and oats.
T: Initial light chocolate meets oats with a nice underlying roastiness. I did detect a sordove gassy, perhaps young taste/feel going on about mid-taste which was nothing big to me. The finish has light cocoa finish, some light bitterness but overall clean and smooth
M: Medium bodied, actually it felt pretty full for a single oatmeal stout. Perhaps the nitro helped promote the feel, texture and heartiness of the body. A bit creamy but smooth and easy to drinkl
O: Not to shabby.
