This was a beer that my friend brought over, a gift from a dear friend he grew up with in the Lou.
First impression was an incredible aroma; lots of barrel, vanilla and caramel. Notably great beak on this one.
Taste mirrored what we were smelling with some pleasant roast character and a little bittersweet chocolate.
The feel was incredibly smooth with the perfect amount of carbonation to set the flavors off, but also quite creamy.
Overall, this was quite the straight up BA stout… checked all the boxes imo and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to try this one.
