Pours black with two fingers of khaki foam. Good retention. Aroma is whiskey and barrel right on the nose. Dark fruits, toasty malts, toffee, and molasses build out a heavy stout aroma. Flavor profile leans into whiskey, with dark fruits just behind. Toasty, roasty malts mingle with barrel and char. It has a heavy bitter undertone. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a heavy creamy texture with a very fine silt. Overall, dark fruits over whiskey. Barrel and char. Strong.

On draft at Billiard's on Broadway. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of bourbon, oak, vanilla, chocolate, toffee and molasses. Sweet chocolate and toffee taste with bourbon, charred oak and vanilla.
