This variant was aged in 4 Roses Bourbon Barrels for 14 months and an additional 12 months in BLIS Maple Barrels. Finally, this variant couldn't be called a "Breakfast Stout" without being finished on coffee beans. We aged with Highlander Grogg beans from Kaldi's Gourmet Coffee Roasters which features a maple-spice flavored coffee bean with a hint of Caribbean spiced rum
