This was poured into a stange. The appearance was a slight hazy burnt yellow color with a one finger white foamy one and a half finger-ed bubbly head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some clingy messy slightly foamy lacing. The smell was slightly bready with light sweet lemon clinging to my nose. The taste was mainly sweet through the previously mentioned flavors. There’s a slight sweet bready aftertaste. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a wonderful sessionability about it. Crisp clean refreshing lemon breadiness sticks to my tongue. There’s a nice smooth carbonation. Overall, for the most part, it’s a decent kolsch. It hits the main aspects of the style. It’s just nothing over the top. Still, I could see myself coming back to this with it’s respected food.

From the can, it pours a clear yellow-amber with a moderate head, reducing over time to a thin layer. A bit of malt and maybe some hops in the nose. In the mouth, it is a clean lightly bitter malt bier. Well done! Yum!

Great replication of the stile. I spent 10 days in koln Germany three years ago. all I could get was Kolsch. This is not my favorite style. But this this is it. Very clear Amber color with good carbonation and crisp flavor, just as I remember it. Takes me right back.

Poured from bomber into glasses and shared with friends. This is the first kolsch I've tried since I homebrewed a batch from extract about two decades ago. A clear light amber-yellow with pure white head that leaves slight tracing. Aroma is of crackers and malt with just a hint of hops. Taste is of bread and crackers, some malt, very slight bitterness. Mouth is dry and refreshing. Overall, a nice alternative to macro beer.
