Moderate pour yields a nearly one inch white head over a slightly hazy, golden body with some pretty nice lacing. Nose of muted herb, grass, and hay with even slighter funk. Taste of lemon, herb, pepper, with a touch of sweetness. Good feel, and overall, a nice little saison-y wild ale-ish offering from Richmond, VT. Cheers!

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-murky dark orange/light bronze/copper color. Stifled little white foamy head quickly slid off to leave some concave lace.
The aroma started with a tart to sour green apple skin up front with some grassy to lemon to hay and earthy funkiness rolling in and meshing quite nice. Light 'sour patch kid'-like backing sort of blended sweet to sour candy - character.
The flavor took all of the prior mentioned aromas to meld finely between sour to tart to sweet and slightly funky. Mild aftertaste of hay/grassy dotted with lemon sour candy and a light touch of green apple.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a light sessionability about it. The 6% ABV seemed on par. The pucker factor seemed more noticeable than a lot of modern sour ales. Carbonation felt a bit under but wasn't bothersome to me. Nice funky to hay-like and green apple-like finish without any lactose.
Overall, to me this was quite nice and what impressed me the most was that this was as smooth as it was brewed without any lactose to smooth out some of the feel.
