Last of 3 beers Alewife and I each had during a Corral visit on 28JUL20. Was a 12oz sniftah pour for $9.00.
Was jet black, dense, oily and opaque. Had a creamy, smooth 1/4" light tan head. Lasted nicely, with good lace left behind. Nose was semi-sweet, with roasty malts and subtle bourbon. Felt rather smooth, and body was medium-plus.
Flavor was lots of roasty choco and coffee, with cocoa powder and molasses. Had light smidges of bourbon in the semi-sweet finish. Nice! Cheers!!
