From a 0.5l bottle picked up by my elder Daughter Caitlin last Fall....
It's a clear brew but extremely dahk. Color is a deep, rich amber-mahogany, with some glints of ruby here and there. Head is medium tan, creamy and smooth, sitting at about 1/2" while ever so slowly ebbing down. Leaves nice lacing on the side of the sniftah. Aroma has some dark fruit (dates, raisins, grapes) and candi sugar wafting about. Body is a decent medium, with a light, airy, prickly feel on the tongue.
Flavor is also a solid mix of dark fruit. More raisins, dates, and grapes, plus plum and black cherry. Even with lots of fruity action it's not really sweet at all, finishing on the dry side. Not bad at all.... Cheers!
