On tap in a pint glass. Deep copper color. Hazy. Nice resilient light tan head. The nose had fresh beets, pepper, bread, and some lemon. Big earthy flavor with some peppery notes but not a lot of funk. Some floral notes as well. A bit of cherry and roast on the finish. Medium bodies and nicely dry. The beet was there but balanced and understated.
