On a work trip I stumbled across this and was pleasantly surprised, I hope to get more for a proper tasting but a cold bottle in my hotel room was excellent

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark chestnut color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, nuts, molasses. Taste is roasted malts. hops, nuts, none of the sweetness detected in the aroma. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall this is a pretty good beer.

On draft at brewery. Poured out a clear, brown color with ruby highlights and a light brown head of foam. Ir left sudsy rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of nuttiness, toffee, caramel and chocolate. Nice roasty taste with chocolate, toffee and toasted caramel.

12 oz bottle from TN in November 2018. Nice cap.
Pours with a clear, very dark reddish-brown colored body topped by tan head that has moderate size and durability.
Smooth, medium body and near medium carbonation.
Coffee, dark roasted grains and light, spicy hops in the flavor. Tastes better than it smells.

Medium to medium-dark brown color. Good carbonation, nice head retention. Smells of roasted nuts. Tastes like 'beer spiked with cereal' as my one buddy put it. Some nice roasted nut notes on the palate. Good overall body. Slightly on the bitter side on the back end, but not overwhelming. Really enjoyed it.

poured from a bottle lite short lasting head, I can't see colors but i'll guess this is about half way between the color of hot chocolate and coke. has a light toasted malt taste with a modest aroma thin watery mouthfeel, I guessed its color from the burnt aftertaste. tastes better if its free probably won't buy again.

Pours dark brown like a Pepsi , almost no head .
Smell is a hint of grain and some Carmel.
Taste... Not much going on lol.. Pretty watered down , maybe just a hint of bitterness which is odd for a nut brown ale..
Feel is thin and watery.
Overall I'm glad I tried it but certainly won't be buying again.
