Not the O.G. but still a very cool place in a very cool part of town. You can hit this place and several others with little more than a light stroll. This brewery is known for big beers, but opted for their lower ABV session IPA, just to see how they handled the style. It was pretty good. I'm sure I would have had more, if I had more time. Chalk this place up to being in a town full of great beer and you can really stay here all day.

Stopped in here during Super Bowl LII, right before it started. Stayed through the 3rd qtr so not sure if my evaluations are completely un-biased. The place was packed but our server was on top of here game and never missed a beat. We didnt eat but they had quite a buffet out for the game. Had tons of flights and I feel like our party of 6 tried all of them. Overall, real cool spot and I will definitely revisit next time I am in Denver.

Walked here from Great Divide with my wife and kids.
Cool place, foeders line one end of the seating area. Moderately large, pretty open, interesting decor. Lots of bottles to buy (I don't think you can drink them there). We were there on a Tuesday night, and they had a guy making tacos or tortas or something there (similar idea to a food truck, I think, but he had a little mobile cooking station set up right in the tasting room). Selection was pretty good. I'm not passionate about Epic beers, but I had a good time here.

Epic makes big beer an art form, led by 'Smoked and Oaked' Belgian Style Ale and 'Big Bad Baptist' Imperial Stout. Something for everyone with lots of originality and great flavor in all their beers. They are not overly obsessed with IPA's like so many others and they don't just take the easy road and hop up everything for cheap dramatics.

Vibe: Nice open area for seating, lots of friendly engaging folks and just a good vibe buzzing around the place. The brewing side is open to the tasting area, and they were mashing when we were there, smelled great.
Quality: These beers are very good, easily top 10 in the state. They also have a big variety of styles and the base belgian and fruit varients were all very nice.
Service: Average service, not bad.
Selection: They had a LOT of beers to try, maybe around 18 or 20. They had some seasonals, one-offs, limited editions, and some standard fare. This is just about perfect.

Modern and sleek yet inviting taproom, well lit, friendly staff and wicked fast service. Music level was fine and a number of games on some wide screen TVs over the bar was uncommon touch. Tons of styles on tap, old dependables and trendy new styles (newer stuff was pretty good). Extremely clean glasses and lines, of course. Neat to see all the High West barrels mellowing some tasty brews out.
