It was billed as an English Pale Ale, and that's how I'm reviewing it.
Orange pour with a medium haze. The hops are pure tang, England-style, by which I mean they were minimally bitter and not really fruity. Just... tangy, in a generic snese. The aroma was nicely sharp and the flavor was decently balanced by a toasty grainbill.
Most of Black Sky's beers had a kinda unpleasant, underbrewed sourness to them. That was less present Toxic Zombie, and it did a decent job of lending itself to the style.
