On tap into a shaker in Iowa City. Pours a reddish amber, with an off white head with minimal retention. Nose is kind of flowery and dark (as opposed to bright) citrus, blueberries, passion fruit....the best part of the beer, for sure. From there it goes in the direction of a decent amber, with a bit more piney bitterness, some bready malts and a substantial body, but not enough integration and kind of loosely constructed. A little zing on the tongue at the end, but leading up to that, low carb and a little on the flat side. Drinkable but not one I'd go out of my way to get.
