If you've smelled broken ginkgo fruit then you will know the smell of this beer. Funk to a point of being putrid. The oddest thing is that once you take a sip that horrible smell disappears, and a clean, sour, fresh taste remains. Terrifically tart yet balanced, I enjoyed every sip. Since I was eating at the time, the beer's stench was overwhelmed by the food.
