Inspired by the traditional dessert cookie, we chose two barrels of 2018 Richard and racked them into additional bourbon barrels that we had filled with as much house-toasted coconut as we could fit into the barrel. We then added house-roasted almonds to the mix.

Very impressive offering from Big Grove. Exactly as advertised and made for a fine Christmas Eve finisher. Pours like fudge, very little head that disappeared quickly. Nose is toasted coconut macaroon all the way as is the taste. Mouthfeel wasn’t as impressive as it’s appearance. I’ll definitely be asking my cousin to proxy for me again at next years release.
