Look: very dark mahogany with a creamy dark white head.
Smell: Mildly of coffee and very malty.
Taste: I really like the maltiness of the beer, however the coffee is really dull and just sort of sits in the background. Could use more coffee or no coffee.
Feel: Really nice feel. The oatmeal gives this a really creamy full-bodied mouthfeel. Lightly carbonated.
Overall: It was a decent beer, but for a coffee stout, I could have used a stronger coffee profile. Everything was just sort of muted by it. Their other coffee amber ale with the Sumatra is much nicer.

Yes, really like this one ! It is smooth, creamy, got a nice mouthfeel, a good hint of coffee (not too much, not too little, just right). Been trying a lot of hazy IPA lately, nice to go back to a more malty beer as I used to prefer. This may be a rare case where I think I prefer this to a Toppling Goliath one (Morning Delight) which I really like but is a bit overwhelming as I get to the end of a can. This one is really good balance of everything.
