Rich and malty with strong flavors of rich donut shop coffee from JBC Roasters, our Wade Wisely Coffee Oatmeal Stout is the sixth volume of the Rare Fish Rare Beer Project. Proceeds from the sale of this beer will benefit projects that educate the public and improve the quality of Iowa's trout streams. Made in collaboration with the Driftless Flyathlon.

Pours a jet black with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma of freshly brewed coffee and roasted malt. Really enjoy the taste of this one. Coffee, roast malt, and chocolate meld together nicely. The mouth feel is silky smooth, but a tad thin. Another nice beer from Big Grove.

Quite bitter with strong flavors of roasted malt and coffee. Usually an oatmeal stout is smoother. Still good though. Opaque black, medium carbonation. A decent beer.

Can from John’s poured into tulip at home. Lacked head seconds after pour, but good coffee oatmeal flavor.
